Tato práce se z teoretického a praktického hlediska zabývá vztahem mezi cenami ropy a měnovými kurzy vyspělých zemí, které tuto důležitou surovinu importují. Nejprve je zjištěn charakter závislosti směnných relací a cen ropy, navazuje popis a ověření modelů vztahu mezi směnnými relacemi a měnovými kurzy.
