Abstract:
The thesis School in the Olden days - Pathways to mother tongue education in Norway and in Bohemia in the 19th century is a comparative work which deals with the question how czech and norwegian were tought during the national revivals in both countries. The sources I used were laws and textbooks from the 19th century.

Diplomová práce Školství ve starých dobách - Cesty k výuce národních jazyků v Norsku a českých zemích v 19. století je komparativní práce, která se zabývá praktickým dopadem národního obrození v obou zemích, tedy prosazováním a znovuzavedením češtiny a norštiny jako vyučovacích jayzků i jako předmětů. Podkladem byly dobové zákony a učebnice.
