The diploma thesis focuses on the Ukrainian composer Serhiy Bortkevych, providing a comprehensive view of the musical context of Bortkevych's work and his stylistic influences. Special attention is given to creating a transcription for the guitar duo of the suite Lyrica nova op. 59, originally composed for piano.
