Prejudices of Parents Towards Alternative forms of Education

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá předsudky rodičů vůči alternativní výuce. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, na část teoretickou a část praktickou. V teoretické části se zabýváme vymezením základních pojmů tradičního a alternativního vzdělání. Stručně popisujeme metody a základní principy těchto forem vzdělávání. Také zde představujeme školy, které souvisí s alternativním vzděláním. Jelikož se v práci věnujeme předsudkům a postojům, stručně vymezujme i tyto dva pojmy. V praktické části se zabýváme kvantitativním výzkumem předsudků rodičů k alternativnímu vzdělání, alternativní výuce. K výzkumnému šetření jsme použili dotazník vlastní konstrukce, který je rozdělen na tři části. Postupně zde popisujeme postupy, měření a výsledky našeho výzkumu. Cílem výzkumu je zjistit, jaká je informovanost rodičů ohledně alternativní výuky, jaké postoje zaujímají rodiče ohledně pojmu alternativní výuky a zjistit předsudky rodičů vůči alternativní výuce.

Abstract:

The graduation thesis deals with parents prejudices towars alternative forms of education. The thesis is divided into two parts, a theoretical part and a partical part. In the theoretical part deals with the definition of basic concepts of traditional and alternative education. We briefly describe the methods and basic principles of these forms of education. Here we also presents schools that are related to alternative education. Since we also deal with prejudices and attitudes in the work, let us briefly define these two conceps. In the practical part deals with the quantitative research of parents prejudices towards alternative forms od education and teaching. For the research survey, we used a questionnaire of own construction, which is divided into three parts. Gradually, we describe the procedures, measurements and final results of our research. The aim of the research is to find out how well informed are parents about alternative education, what attitudes parents have about the concept of alternative education and to find out their parents prejudices towards alternative education.
