Saving accounts and term deposits offered by selected financial institutions

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je porovnat výhodnost spořicích účtů a termínovaných vkladů u vybraných finančních institucí. První kapitola charakterizuje jednotlivě oba spořicí produkty a vymezuje podrobně jejich užití a daná kritéria. V druhé kapitole se pojednává o vývoji produktů na českém trhu v průběhu devíti let. V poslední kapitole je charakterizováno třináct vybraných bank a družstevních záložen a poté pomocí modelových příkladů porovnáme jejich nabídku. V závěru bakalářské práce jsou spořicí účty a termínované vklady zhodnoceny a shrnuty hlavní poznatky.

Abstract:

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to compare the benefits of savings accounts and term deposits with selected financial institutions. The first chapter characterizes both savings products individually and defines in details their use and given criteria. The second chapter deals with the development of products on the Czech market over the course of nine years. In the last chapter, thirteen selected banks and credit unions are characterized and then with the use of model examples we compare their offer. At the end of the bachelor's thesis, savings accounts and term deposits are evaluated and the main findings are summarized.
