The Strategy of Maintaining the Employment for People 50+

Abstract:

Magisterská diplomová práce se zabývá tématem strategii udržování zaměstnání u osob 50+. V teoretické části jsou nastíněny dosavadní poznatky a souvislosti z dané oblasti, na které potom navazuje empirická část. Teoretická část je rozdělena do tří hlavních kapitol. V první kapitole se věnuji charakteristice vývojové etapy pozdní dospělosti. Druhá kapitola se orientuje na postavení zaměstnanců 50+ na trhu práce a na opatření, která slouží k jejich ochraně. Třetí kapitola poskytuje přehled nástrojů, sloužících k podpoře a udržení zaměstnání v pozdním věku.V empirické části diplomové práce je prezentován popis výzkumného šetření, realizovaného v prostředí strojního závodu, který se specializuje na výrobu železničních pražců. Cílem samotného empirického šetřením v prostředí výrobního závodu se stala analýza profesního života dospělých 50+ a identifikace strategií udržování zaměstnání na základě faktorů, které jej ovlivňují. Ke sběru dat byla použita metoda hloubkového rozhovoru. Data byla následně podrobena analýze. Výsledky byly dále interpretovány.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the maintenance strategy employed persons the 50+. The theoretical part is divided into four main chapters.The theoretical part is divided into three main chapters. The first chapter is devoted to the characteristics of developmental stages of late adulthood. The second chapter focuses on the status of employees 50+ in the labor market and measures that serve to protect them. The third chapter provides an overview of the tools used to support and sustain employment in later life.In the empirical part of the thesis is presented a description of the research, which was implemented in an environment of mechanical plant, which specializes in the manufacture of railway sleepers.The aim of the empirical investigation in the environment of the factory became the analysis of the professional life of adults 50+ and identify strategies for maintaining employment on the basis of factors that affect it. The method of depth interview was used to gather the data, which were then analysed. The outcomes were further interpreted.
