Map application for presentation of the urbanonyms of Krnov

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na změny uličního názvosloví a stavebního průběhu ulic katastrálního území města Krnova v období 1894-2023. Základem práce je digitalizace získaných mapových podkladů v prostředí ArcGIS Pro, zpracování mapových podkladů vůči současné uliční síti převzaté z Registru územní identifikace, adres a nemovitostí (RÚIAN) formou editací a převedení zpracovaných dat do mapové aplikace prostřednictvím ArcGIS Online. Výsledkem práce je vizualizace změn uliční sítě a uličního názvosloví ve městě Krnově z mapových podkladů od konce 19. století až po současnost v souvislosti s rozvojem města a s ohledem na politicko-historické události.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on changes in street names and the development of streets in the cadastral area of Krnov in the period 1894-2023. The work is based on the digitalization of the acquired base maps in ArcGIS Pro, processing of the base maps in relation to the current street network obtained from the Register of Territorial Identification, Addresses and Real Estate (RÚIAN) by editing and transfer of the processed data to the map application using ArcGIS Online. The result of the thesis is the visualization of changes in the street network and street names in the town of Krnov using the base maps from the end of the 19th century to the present day in connection with the growth of the town and with regard to political and historical events.
