Gammaspectrometric characteristic of recent sediment of the Haduvka creek

Abstract:

V roce 2006 byly v rámci výzkumného záměru Inchembiol zpracovány geofyzikální podklady v širším okolí rožínecko-olšínského uranového rudního pole. Na mapách letecké radiometrie je patrno několik anomálií. Letecky byla detekována radiometrická anomálie podél toku říčky Hadůvky, nedaleko obce Olší a to hlavně U-anomálie. Cílem práce bylo objasnit, jakým způsobem se tyto anomálie projevují v sedimentech Hadůvky. Poté se pokusit objasnit původ U a Th v sedimentech Hadůvky, A to jestli se na zdroji podílí halda bývalého uranového dolu v Olší, nebo jestli je anomálie zcela přírodního charakteru a způsobuje ji těleso durbachitů. Podle naměřených hodnot uranu a thoria, bylo zjištěno, že sedimenty toku Hadůvky a sedimenty nejblíže toku jsou ovlivněny haldou bývalého dolu v Olší a sedimenty starší a svahové sedimenty jsou ovlivněny drobným tělesem durbachitů.

Abstract:

In 2006, geophysical documents were worked out within the Inchembiol research conducted in the neighborhood of the Rožínecko-olšínecké uranium ore field. Several anomalies can be found on the airline radiometry maps. A radiometric anomaly was detected along the Hadůvka creek nearby the village of Olší, in particular the Uranium anomaly. The purpose of the thesis was to determine the mode in which the anomalies manifest themselves in the Hadůvka sediments. Next, to make clear the origin of Uranium and Thorium anomalies in the Hadůvka sediments, whether they come from the refuse pile of the former uranium pit in Olší or the anomaly is of a natural character, caused by a durbachite body.According to the measurements of Uranium and Thorium taken, it was determined that the Hadůvka creek’s and nearby sediments are influenced by the refuse pile of the former uranium pit in Olší and that the older and colluvial sediments are influenced by the small durbachite body.
