Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce, s názvem Střet civilizací, se zabývá konfliktními vztahy, střety, mezi příslušníky západní civilizace a příslušníky jiných civilizací, především civilizací islámskou. Konkrétně v souvislosti s migrací těchto příslušníků do západní Evropy. Důvodem ke zvolení této práce je její aktuálnost. V první části se budu zabývat charakteristikou obecných pojmů, které se týkají tématiky střetu civilizací. Dále se budu věnovat základním informacím o islámské víře, následně o křesťanství. V další části mé práce bude popisována problematika migrace příslušníku islámu do západní Evropy. V závěrečné kapitole se budu zabývat konkrétně pojmem střetu civilizací a jeho pochopením v této práci. Cílem mé práce je zjistit příčiny střetu civilizací prostřednictvím porovnání křesťanství s islámem a pochopení historických souvislostí týkajících se migrace muslimů do západní Evropy.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis, named “The Clash of Civilizations”, tries to cover the topics of problematic relationships, conflicts, between members of the Western Civilization and other members of different Civilizations, namely the Islamic Civilization. Specifically in conjunction with migration of said members to Western Europe. The reason for choosing this particular subject is simply for its curentness. In the first part, I will try to characterize general ideas and concepts related to the topic of Clash of Civilizations. After the necessary introduction, my aim is to correctly and objectively describe the characteristics of both Islam and Christianity, which will then allow me to accurately assess the circumstances regarding the migration of Islamic Civilization members to Western Europe. In the concluding chapter of my bachelor thesis, the “Clash of Civilizations” will be thoroughly analyzed both from a general perspective, and also from my subjective understanding in this work. The goal of this bachelor thesis is to use the comparison of Christianity and Islam to both understand the historical and cultural context hidden behind the migration of muslims to Western Europe and uncover the real reasons for this particular migration.
