Individual Action Research Focused On Working With Escape Strategies And Assertiveness

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se věnuje rozvoji profesních i sociálních kompetencí pedagoga v mateřské škole pomocí individuálního akčního výzkumu. V této souvislosti se věnuje tématům únikových strategií, asertivnímu chování. Teoretická část této diplomové práce pojednává o únikový strategiích, jejich vymezení, základních termínech v této oblasti a charakterizuje situace, ve kterých tyto strategie volíme. Dále se věnuje srovnání copingových strategií a obranným mechanismům a stručně je zde popsána problematika stresu. Teoretická část také obsahuje téma asertivity, kdy se zaměřuje na komunikaci a předkládá asertivní práva a dovednosti a popisuje situace, kdy se toto chování užívá. Tato část je zakončena tématem rozvoje osobnosti pedagoga, která vymezuje téma seberozvoje a nastiňuje časté téma na poli pedagogickém - syndromem vyhoření. V praktické části je prezentován samotný výzkum prováděný pomocí čtyřfázového akčního výzkumu. Tato část obsahuje cíl celé práce, výzkumné otázky i teoretický kontext. Hlavním cílem výzkumu byla práce a zlepšování se v oblasti převažujících únikových strategií a neasertivního chování, a to nejen na poli soukromého života, ale také jako zlepšování osobnostních a profesních kompetencí u pedagoga v MŠ. Jako metody sběru dat v tomto výzkumu byly použity - čtyřfázový akční výzkum, osobní deník individuálního akčního výzkumu (PARJ), Škála duševní pohody, osobnostní test Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), Stress profile a další. K analýze získaných dat byl použit opět osobní deník individuálního akčního výzkumu (PARJ), otevřené kódování a obsahová analýza. V závěru této práce jsou shrnuty výsledky a přínosy akčního výzkumu a zvolené techniky dle vymezených témat, které vedly ke změně v osobnostním i kompetentním rozvoji.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis is dedicated to kindergarten pedagogues development of professional and social competencies through individual action research. In this context, it deals with the topics of coping and assertive behavior. Theory part of this thesis deals with the coping, its definition, basic terms in this area and characterizes the situations in which we choose the coping .It also compares coping strategies and defense mechanisms and briefly describes the issue of stress. The theoretical part also contains the topic of assertiveness, which focuses on communication and presents assertive rights and skills and describes situations where this behavior is used. This part ends with the topic of the development of the pedagogue's personality, which defines the topic of self-development and outlines a common topic in the field of pedagogy - burnout syndrome. The practical part presents the research itself carried out using four-phase action research. This part contains the aim of the whole work, research questions and theoretical context. The main goal of the research was to work and improve in the field of prevailing coping and non-assertive behavior, not only in the field of private life, but also as improving the personal and professional competencies of the pedagogue in kindergarten. The following were used as data collection methods in this research: four-phase action research, personal diary of individual action research (PARJ), Mental Well-being Scale, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) personality test , Stress profile and others. The personal diary of individual action research (PARJ), open coding and content analysis were again used to analyze the obtained data. At the end of this work are summarized the results and benefits of action research and selected techniques according to defined topics that led to a change in personal and competent development.
