The submitted thesis deals with the method of protection of Li-ion battery. The author has also described all important parameters related to its charging and operation. The first part describes the characteristics of Li-ion batteries and compares them not only with the characteristics of other commonly available electrochemical cells but also with different types of Li-ion.
