Upbringing of Minors in Ethnically Mixed Marriages

Abstract:

V předložené diplomové práci jsem se zaměřila na zkoumání výchovy dětí v národnostně smíšených manželstvích a rovněž postoje a názory manželů, pocházejících z různého kulturního a sociálního prostředí, na výchovu nezletilých dětí. Diplomová práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. V první kapitole jsem se zaměřila na význam a funkci rodiny a manželství z pohledu historického i z pohledu současné společnosti. Druhá kapitola pojednává o významu výchovy, o jejím historickém vývoji a o životních hodnotách, které by měly být v životě člověka důležité, jelikož vytvářejí, v širokém měřítku, obraz společnosti. Třetí kapitola vychází z kapitol předešlých a je doplněna o poznatky z oblasti interkulturní psychologie a komunikace, které jsou v úzké souvislosti s tématem národnostně smíšených manželství a způsobem a odlišnostmi výchovy, s nimiž se tito rodiče nejčastěji setkávají. Praktickou část tvoří přípravná fáze výzkumu, na kterou navazuje samotný výzkumu. Na základě stanoveného cíle byla zvolena kvalitativní strategie výzkumu s využitím polostrukturovaných rozhovorů, které umožnily nejlépe vystihnout názory a postoje zkoumaných partnerů z národnostně smíšených manželství, na odlišnosti a způsob života a výchovy dětí v jejich rodinách.

Abstract:

The thesis is focused on research of underage children education in the multi-ethnic marriages and on the views and opinions of married couples who come from different cultural and social background. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and the practical part. The first chapter deals with the role and the function of family and marriage both from historical and contemporary perspective .The second chapter deals with the importance of education, its historical development and important values of life that reflects our society. The third chapter proceeds from the previous chapters and adds the intercultural psychology and communication knowledge, that is closely related to inter-ethnic marriage topic and to the method and the education differences, that parents frequently encounter. The practical part consists of the research preparation followed by the research itself. Based on the set target, the qualitative research strategy was used, utilizing semi-structured dialogues, that enabled the best depiction of opinions and attitudes of examined partners about differences and lifestyle and education of children in their families.
