Single European Sky

Abstract:

Cílem této práce je prozkoumat integraci vzdušného prostoru Evropské unie, která je nezbytně nutná k zachování plynulého, bezpečného a efektivního provozu nad Evropou. Počet letadel nad Evropou rok od roku roste, a proto je zapotřebí k tomu uzpůsobit i vzdušný prostor, který v nynější podobě není schopný trvale udržitelného rozvoje. Evropská unie již několik let vyvíjí projekt Jednotného evropského nebe po vzoru již úspěšně integrovaného vzdušného prostoru nad Německem, Belgií, Lucemburkem a Nizozemím. Právě tento projekt a jednotlivé funkční celky budou středobodem této práce.

Abstract:

The goal of this thesis is to analyse the integration of the European airspace. The traffic over Europe raises year over year and it is necessary to maintain fluent, safe and effective operation. In order to keep the pace with air traffic it is necessary to alter the airspace above Europe, as the structure it is now in is not capable of sustainable growth. European Union is in the process of developing project called Single European Sky the idea of which originates in the integrated airspace over Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands. Thesis focuses on this very project and particular functional airspace blocks (FAB).
