Endovascular treatment of the below the knee arteries in diabetic foot patients

Abstract:

Má bakalářská práce se zabývá endovaskulární léčbou bércového řečiště u pacientů s diabetem mellitem. Je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části práce uvedu nejprve z důvodu vstupu do problematiky anatomii bércového řečiště, následně přiblížím problematiku onemocnění diabetu mellitu spolu s jejími možnými komplikacemi. Posledním bodem teoretické části bude vysvětlení co je a co obsahuje endovaskulární léčba, a současně co je úkolem radiologického asistenta u endovaskulárních výkonů. Praktická část vychází z dat, která mi byla poskytnuta panem MUDr. Václavem Procházkou Ph.D., MSc. a personálem ve Fakultní nemocnici v Ostravě na radiodiagnostickém oddělení. Studie se zabývá pacienty, kteří podstoupili endovaskulární výkon na bércovém řečišti a trpí cukrovkou. Zkoumané období je pětileté - od ledna roku 2008 do září roku 2012. Do studie jsem zpracovala zejména věk a pohlaví pacientů, jaký zákrok podstoupili a vazby mezi zjištěnými daty. V závěru své práce hodnotím výsledky své studie.

Abstract:

My bachelor thesis deals with the endovascular treatment of below knee arteries in diabetic foot patients. It is divided into theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part I will first mention of the entry into the issue venous anatomy riverbed, then elucidate aspects of the disease of diabetes along with its potential complications. The last point of the theoretical part will explain what is and contains endovascular treatment, and also what is the role of radiology assistant at the sunary major. The practical part is based on data, that was provided to me by Mr. MD. Vaclav Prochazka, Ph.D., MSc. and staff at the University Hospital in Ostrava Radiodiagnostics. The study deals with patients who underwent endovascular stream output to leg and suffers from diabetes. The investigated period is five years - from January 2008 to September 2012. The study I Works up especially age and sex of patients, which underwent surgery and links between the observed data. At the end of my work are the results of the study.
