Abstract:
Biotransformace xenobiotik je nezbytným procesem odehrávajícím se v organismu, jelikož zpracovává látky, které jsou tělu cizí. Hlavními enzymy biotransformace jsou cytochromy P450 (CYP450). Změny v jejich expresi mohou významně ovlivňovat účinnost léčiv, výskyt nežádoucích účinků a rozvoj řady onemocnění včetně nádorových. Abstract:
Xenobiotic biotransformation is an essential proccess in organism because it eliminates potentially harmful substances from the body. The cytochromes P450 are major enzymes involved in the biotransformation, and the changes in their expression can significantly affect the metabolism and drug efficiency, an occurence of adverse effects or development of various diseases including cancer.
