Commented Translation of a Non-literary Text in the Field of Social/Cultural Sciences from Spanish to Czech: The Education in the Reformatory Institutions

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis was an analysis and translation of a scientific text of pedagogy from Spanish to Czech.At first, we have analysed the source text, we have identified general, linguistic and typographic characteristics. For the translation of the text were used various strategies and translation processes. Each of translation processes was accompanied by a concrete example of the analyzed text. One part of thesis was dedicated to the translation problems and the solving of them. Further was created a terminological glossary that includes 45 technical terms excepted from the default text.

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce byla analýza a překlad odborného textu z oblasti pedagogiky ze španělského do českého jazyka. Nejprve jsme provedli překladovou analýzu výchozího textu, určili jsme jeho obecné, jazykové a typografické charakteristiky. Pro samotný překlad textu byly použity různé strategie a překladatelské postupy. Každý z překladatelských postupů byl doplněn o konkrétní příklad analyzovaného textu. Překladatelským problémům a jejich řešení byla věnována část práce. Dále byl vytvořen terminologický glosář, který obsahuje 45 odborných termínů excerpovaných z výchozího textu.
