Diplomová práce zkoumá, jak studenti v sekundárním vzdělávání vyhledávají informace, jaké okolnosti jsou důležité, jak studenti informace používají, co vyhledávají, co je zajímá, jaká je jejich motivace. Otázkou je, zda studenti používají informace ke svému sebevzdělávání, a jakou roli hrají v tomto procesu nová média. Součástí práce je případová studie.
