Abstract:
Tématem bakalářské práce je malířská a sochařská výzdoba piaristického kostela Nanebevzetí Panny Marie ve Strážnici v období baroka. Kostel byl vystavěn v letech 1742 – 1747, podle projektu Ignáce Josefa Cyraniho z Bolleshausu pro řád piaristů. Autorem malířské výzdoby je Josef Tadeáš Rotter, podílel se na ní i Johann Lucas Kracker a František Vavřinec Korompay. Sochařskou výzdobu zhotovil Ignác Morávek …more
Abstract:
The topic of this bachelor´s thesis is the painting and sculptural decorations in the Piarist Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Strážnice during the Baroque period. Designed by Ignatius Cyrani von Bolleshaus, the church was built between 1742 and 1747 for the Order of Piarists.
