Táto záverečná práca sa zaoberá revíziou rozpočtu Európskej únie, ktorá sa uskutočnila v rokoch 2008-2009. V prvej časti sa venujeme teoretickým východiskám rozpočtu, ktoré zahŕňajú krátku históriu, rozpočtové kritériá, proces tvorby a kontrolu. Obsahuje tiež štruktúru príjmov a výdavkov.
