Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je v první řadě ukázat vliv nových technologických prostředků na výuku budoucích tlumočníků. Práce pojednává o změně, kterou výuka tlumočení v tomto ohledu v posledních letech prodělala, a poskytuje informace o tlumočení obecně, o jeho historii, výzkumu a výuce, stejně jako o konkrétních softwarech a projektech Evropské Unie, které se pro výuku tlumočení používají. Dále se tato práce také zabývá jednotlivými dovednostmi, které tlumočnická profese vyžaduje, a ukazuje, jak mohou být vyučovány s podporou technologie či bez ní.

Abstract:

The present thesis focuses primarily on the place of technology in the training of future interpreters. It discusses its importance and the shift which the interpreter training has undergone in this respect over the past years. The thesis also provides information about interpreting in general, its history, research and training, and about specific EU-based training projects and software. It further elaborates on individual skills which are needed for the interpreting profession and shows how they can be attained with (or without) the help of modern technological tools.
