Abstract:

Mou bakalářskou prací poukazuji na důležitou roli ergoterapeuta u klienta s mentální retardací a rozdíly v žití klienta v domově pro osoby se zdravotním postižením a chráněném bydlení. Cílem této práce je seznámit širokou a odbornou veřejnost s využitím ergoterapeutické intervence u klienta se střední mentální retardací při přechodu z domova pro osoby se zdravotním postižením do chráněného bydlení. Teoretická část poukazuje na problematiku mentálního postižení, zabývám se klasifikací a etiologii. Práce je převážně zaměřována na střední mentální retardaci, kde jsou popsány hlavní znaky a chování daných klientů. Dále jsou popsány sociální služby, konkrétně domov pro osoby se zdravotním postižením a chráněné bydlení. V této práci je popsáno opatrovnictví, zastoupení klienta, invalidní důchod a příspěvek na péči, na který mají klienti s mentálním postižením nárok. Jedna z částí bakalářské práce popisuje využití ergoterapie u mentálního postižení, také využití modelových činností při práci s klientem. Praktická část je zaměřená na práci s klientem se střední mentální retardací. Pro práci s klientem byla nejprve odebrána anamnéza a vstupní ergoterapeutické vyšetření za pomocí standardizovaných testů. Ze vstupního vyšetření byl vytvořen krátkodobý ergoterapeutický plán a jeho následná realizace. Terapie byla cíleně vedená na přípravu klienta na přechod z domova pro osoby se zdravotním postižením do chráněného bydlení, za využití modelových činností. Na konci terapie bylo provedeno výstupní vyšetření a navrhnutý dlouhodobý ergoterapeutický plán. Pozitivní vliv ergoterapeutické intervence s využitím modelových situací v oblasti personálních a instrumentálních činnostech. Ergoterapeutická intervence s využitím modelových situací měla pozitivní vliv na zlepšení samostatnosti a soběstačnosti klienta.

Abstract:

Introduction My bachelor thesis higlights the important role of an occupational therapist in a client with mental retardation and the differences in the client's life in a home for people with disabilities and sheltered housing. The aim of this thesis is to introduce the general and professional public to the use of occupational therapy intervention in a client with moderate mental retardation during the transition from a home for people with disabilities to sheltered housing. The theoretical part highlights the issue of intellectual disability, dealing with classification and etiology. The work is mainly focused on moderate mental retardation, where the main features and behaviours of the clients are described. In addition, social services are described, specifically a home for people with disabilities and sheltered housing. This paper describes guardianship, client representation, disability pension and the care allowance to which clients with intellectual disabilities are entitled. One section of the thesis describes the use of occupational therapy for intellectual disability, alse the use of model activities when working with a client. The practical part is focused on working with a client with moderate mental retardation. To work with the client, first a medical history and an initial occupational therapy examination was taken using standardized tests. From the initial examination a short-term occupational therapy plan was developed and its subsequent implementation. The therapy was targeted at preparing the client for the transition from a home for people with disabilities to sheltered housing, using model activities. At the end of the therapy, an exit examination was performed and a long-term occupational therapy plan was proposed. Positive influence of occupational therapy intervention using model situations of personnel and instrumental activities. Occupational therapy intervention with the use of model situations had a positive effect on improving the client's independence and self-sufficiency
