Práce sleduje urbanizační procesy na území Spojených států Amerických, jejichž výsledkem je vznik megalopolí a megaregionů. Thesis is focused on urbanization within the United States of America as a result of formation megalopolis and megaregions. The main subject of interest is BosWash megalopolis which lies on the east coast of the USA and includes a belt of cities from Boston to Washington, D. C.
