Předkládaná bakalářská práce je zaměřena na jeden z ústředních orgánů státní správy ČR – Úřad pro ochranu hospodářské soutěže. Cílem práce je analyzovat jeho postavení, vzájemné vztahy s jinými státními orgány a jeho činnost v jednotlivých oblastech jeho působnosti, tj. v oblasti ochrany hospodářské soutěže, v oblasti veřejných zakázek, významné tržní síly a veřejné podpory.
