Abstract:
Na pozadí recepce Straussova díla se přítomná práce snaží vymezit vztah Leoše Janáčka a Richarda Strausse. Leoš Janáček se živě o Straussovo dílo zajímal, což dokládá straussovská literatura v jeho knihovně a citace ze Straussových děl v Janáčkově hudebně teoretickém díle. Na Janáčka měl pravděpodobně i vliv typ Straussovy bohaté instrumentace.
Abstract:
Janáček bought two piano extracts of Strauss’s operas - Elektra (Czech edition published in 1910) and Pink Cavalier (piano extract with German text, Berlin edition published in 1910). Moreover, he owned a copy of Strauss’s libretto Salome in German, his libretto Elektra in Czech, and two handbooks to the operas Salome (Otto Roese) and Elektra (Rudolf Zamrzla).
