Doping as a moral issue – responsibility of management

Abstract:

Má bakalářská práce je zaměřena na problematiku dopingu v profesionálním sportu. V této práci je doping chápán jako morální problém, který nepostihuje pouze sportovce. Cílem práce je dokázat úzkou vazbu mezi dopingem sportovce či týmů a zodpovědností managementu sportu za něj. Za modelový příklad jsem si zvolila silniční cyklistiku, především dopingovou aféru Lance Armstronga a stáje U. S. Postal.

Abstract:

My bachelor thesis is focused on issues of doping in professional sport. In the thesis, doping is understood as a moral problem that affects not only athletes. The goal of the thesis is to show the close relationship between the doping of athletes or teams and sports management responsibility for this. As a model example I chose the road cycling, especially doping scandal of Lance Armstrong and his bicycle racing team U. S. Postal.
