New wave in czech rock music

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá novou vlnou v české rockové hudbě. Text se snaží o historické zhodnocení daného tématu a zařazení do kontextu české nonartificiální hudby 2. pol. 20. stol. Pomocí analýzy a autentických názorů účastníků se studie snaží postihnout novou vlnu v co nejširším hledisku. Studie se pokouší zdůraznit fakt, že nová vlna se netýkala primárně jen populární hudby, ale zasahovala také do jiných uměnovědných žánrů. Důležitý aspekt, na který se snaží dále tato práce upozornit, je silný politický přesah dané hudby. V neposlední řadě se bakalářská práce pokouší vyzdvihnout atribut generační výpovědi, jež byla s novou vlnou úzce spojena.

Abstract:

This Bachelor´s thesis deals with a new wave in Czech rock music. The aim of this text is to historically evaluate the set subject and submit it into a context of Czech non artificial music in the 2nd half of 20th century. With a help of analysis and genuine opinions of the participants the study tries to involve the new wave from widest angle. The study points out a fact that the new wave wasn´t only applied to modern music but interfered also with other art-science styles. Another important point of view which the study points out is a strong political overlap of the set music. At last this Bachelor´s thesis tries to highlight an attribute to generation withdrawal who was very much attached to the new wave.
