Russian verbs to beat and to be with prefixes in comparison with Czech

Abstract:

The thesis is focused on Russian verbs to be and to beat with prefixes and their use. The work is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part consists of a theory of word formation with prefixes, attention is also paid to the grammatical and lexical meanings of the Czech and Russian verb prefixes. In particular, the theoretical part focuses on semantic aspects of Russian verbal prefixation and the problems of ambiguity and polysemy of Russian verbs.The practical part is devoted to particular verbs with prefixes. Collection of these verbs was conducted by virtue of the Czech National Corpus and the National Corpus of the Russian language. Corpus can be defined as a set of computer-stored texts (in the case of spoken language - speech transcript of the record), primarily used for linguistic research. To work with corpora the special search program is served. With it you can search for words and phrases in context and determine their frequency in the corpus and find out the original source text.The detailed analysis is made for the verbs with prefixes, there is examined the semantic relationships between Czech and Russian prefixes and frequency of various types of translation.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na problematiku ruských sloves bít a být s předponami a jejich užití. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí: teoretické a praktické. Teoretická část se skládá z teorie slovotvorby pomocí předpon, pozornost je také věnována gramatickým a lexikálním významům ruských a českých slovesných předpon. Zvláště je teoretická část zaměřena na sémantický aspekt ruské slovesné prefixace a problematice mnohoznačnosti a polysémii ruských sloves. Praktická část je věnována jednotlivým předponovým slovesům. Excerpce těchto sloves byla provedena díky Českému národnímu korpusu a Národnímu korpusu ruského jazyka. Korpus se dá definovat jako soubor počítačově uložených textů (v případě mluveného jazyka - přepisů záznamu mluvy), který primárně slouží k jazykovému výzkumu. K práci s korpusy slouží speciální vyhledávací program. S jeho pomocí je možné vyhledávat slova a slovní spojení v kontextu a zjistit jejich frekvenci v korpusu i původní textový zdroj.U předponových sloves je provedena jejich podrobná analýza, zkoumají se sémantické vztahy ruských a českých prefixů a četnost jednotlivých způsobů překladu.
