Quality of Life in Patients after Cardioversion

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je zjistit, jak hodnotí kvalitu života pacienti po kardioverzi. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část je rozdělena do tří kapitol. První kapitola se zabývá arytmiemi, které jsou indikací ke kardioverzi. Každá tato arytmie je stručně popsána a vysvětlena. Druhá kapitola je zaměřena na samotnou kardioverzi. Zde je popsáno, jaké druhy kardioverzí jsou prováděny, jak probíhá příprava, postup, péče po výkonu, komplikace a také kontraindikace. Třetí kapitola popisuje kvalitu života. Vymezuje pojem kvality života a popisuje její objektivní a subjektivní hodnocení. Dále se zaměřuje na obecné hodnocení kvality života a hodnocení kvality života u kardiovaskulárních onemocnění. V praktické části je jako metoda sběru dat použit rozhovor, jehož prostřednictvím zjišťujeme, jak respondenti hodnotí kvalitu života před kardioverzí a po kardioverzi. Kvalitu života hodnotíme ve třech oblastech. První oblast je fyzická, druhá sociální a třetí psychická.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to find out how to evaluate the quality of life of pacitients after the cardioversion. The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is divided into three chapters. The first chapter deals with arrythmias, which are an indication to cardioversion. Each of these arrhythmias is briefly described and explaind. The second chapter is focused on cardioversion. Here is described what types of cardioversion are perfomed, how is the preparation, the procedure, care after the procedure, complications and also contraindications. The third chapter describes the quality of life. It defines the concept of quality of life and describes the objective and subjective evaluation. It then focuses on the general evaluation of the quality of life and evaluation of the quality of life in cardiovascular diseases. The interview is used in practical part as a method of the data collection, through which we find out how the respondents evaluated the quality of life before cardioversion and after cardioversion. We evaluate the quality of life in three areas. The first area is the physical, the second social and the third psychical.
