Abstract:

Managerial decision-making is a fundamental component of organizational performance and success, particularly in the rapidly evolving and complex environment of the insurance sector. This study explores the key factors influencing decision-making processes within an insurance company, with a specific emphasis on the role of branch managers. Effective managerial decisions enable organizations to identify and capitalize on opportunities, address challenges proactively, allocate resources efficiently, and maintain competitiveness in the market. In contrast, ineffective decision-making can result in financial inefficiencies, missed strategic opportunities, and decreased employee engagement. To ensure robust decision-making, branch managers employ systematic tools, such as criteria-based evaluation tables, to compare candidates' skills and qualifications objectively. This structured approach facilitates informed decisions, aligning personnel selection with organizational goals and enhancing overall operational effectiveness.
