Brno: Mendelova univerzita, 2019.Tato diplomová práce se snaží porovnat vztah mezi exportem a ekonomickým růstem v Ghaně v období 15 let od roku 1991 do roku 2017.Toto období definuje tranzici a implementaci exportně orientovaných politik pro ekonomiku Ghany.Inspirace pro tuto studii je čerpána z Enu et al, 2013, kteří zkoumali výzvy a příležitosti exportního sektoru v Ghaně a tato studie se snaží přispět k již existujícím studiím provedeným v této oblasti. Studie zkoumá rozdílné časové dopady vývozu na ekonomiku Ghany.Pro tuto studii byla použita metoda OLS (Ordinary Least Square). Kromě toho byly odhadnuty a následně vypočteny pětileté klouzavé průměry, aby se posoudil pětiletý mezní efekt vývozu na ekonomický růst. Konkrétně, hypotéza Export-Led Growth (ELG) a rámec vyvinutý Fosu v roce 1990 byly použity k analýze.Výsledky ukázaly, že vývoz má pozitivní vliv na hospodářský růst, a proto strategie růstu spojená exportem zůstává pro Ghanu platná i během období studie.Součástí práce jsou navrhované možnosti, jak podpořit spotřebu místně vyráběných produktů.

Brno: Mendel University, 2019.This master thesis seeks to analyze the relationship that exists between Exports and economic growth in Ghana over a fifteen (15) year period from 1991 through to 2017.This duration defines the transition and implementation of export-oriented policies for the economy of Ghana.Before this study, inspiration is taken from Enu et al., 2013 who have examined the challenges and opportunities of the exports sector in Ghana and this study seeks to contribute to the already existing studies conducted in this area. More so, the study investigates the differing temporal effects of exports to the economy of Ghana. An Ordinary Least Square (OLS) estimation technique was adopted for the study. Also, five-year moving averages were computed and estimated to examine the five-year gap effect of exports on economic growth. Specifically, the Export-Led Growth (ELG) hypothesis and the framework developed by Fosu in 1990 was used to aid in the analysis.The results indicated that there is a positive effect of exports on economic growth and it was concluded that Export-Led Growth Strategy remains valid for Ghana during the study period.Recommendations such as encouraging consumption of locally produced commodities were suggested.
