Abstract:
The primary aim of the thesis is to analyse and interpret both the work and the influence of Marilyn Manson during the 1990s. Following the gathered information, it will then be defined whether Manson had a lasting impact on the general public and religion. The thesis also deals with his biography before his fame.

Primárním cílem práce je analýza a interpretace jak díla, tak působení Marilyna Mansona v průběhu devadesátých let minulého století. V návaznosti na získané informace se poté definuje, zdali měl Manson trvalý dopad na širokou veřejnost a náboženství. Práce se také zabývá jeho biografií před jeho slávou
