Analysis of tourism in Czech Switzerland with stress on hiking and cycling

Abstract:

Diplomová práce analyzuje vybrané aspekty cestovního ruchu, které vychází z analýzy strategických dokumentů destinace České Švýcarsko. Z vybraných statistických dat je provedena segmentace poptávky zahraničních a domácích návštěvníků na základě psychologických a geografických kritérií. Další část práce je věnována vlastnímu terénnímu průzkumu turistických značených tras. V systému pěších tras jsou zhodnoceny problémové oblasti a následně jsou navržena opatření k jejich eliminaci. V rámci terénního průzkumu je zkoumána také problematika bezbariérové turistiky. Terénní šetření je doplněno analýzou marketingu, která zkoumá nabídku pěších tras a cyklotras jako produktů. Závěrečná část práce je syntézou předchozích analýz a je zaměřena na návrh nového produktu cestovního ruchu.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis analyses selected aspects of tourism, which works on analysis of strategical documents of Czech Switzerland. From selected statistical data there is made segmentation of demand of foreign and home visitors on the basis of psychological and geographical standarts. Next part of this thesis is focused on field research of touristic marked routes. In the system of the walking touristic routes there are evaluated critical locations and another step is proposal for elimination this problems. During field research there are also explored problems of the barrier-free tourism. The field research is completed by marketing analysis, which researches the offer of walking touristic routes and cycle routes as products. Final part of this diploma thesis is synthesis of all previous analysis and this synthesis is focused on the proposal of new touristic product.
