Influence of linear structures on the permeability of the landscape in south margin of Pilsen.

Abstract:

Cílem práce bylo zhodnocení vlivu liniových staveb na průchodnost krajiny pro zvěř a vztahů mezi intenzitou dopravy, mortalitou zvěře a navazujícím krajinným pokryvem. Byl proveden terénní výzkum za účelem sběru dat a zmapování okolního krajinného pokryvu s následnou digitalizací dat. Při sběru dat byla sledována četnost migračních objektů a jejich parametry. Stěžejní bylo co nejpřesnější zaznamenání polohy a délky bariér na komunikacích. Zjištěná data byla kategorizována a provázána s daty srážek se zvěří v mapovém prostředí ArcMap. Na mapovém podkladu bylo použito několik analýz a výpočtů. Výsledkem je soubor map a grafů, které dokládají souvislost mezi intenzitou dopravy a budováním bariér na komunikacích. Také potvrzují hypotézu, podle které je největší počet srážek se zvěří na komunikacích vedoucích lesem. Naopak vyvrací předpoklad nízkého počtu migračních prvků. Je patrná snaha o zabezpečení komunikací proti vniknutí zvěře použitím plotů a pachových ohradníků. Účinnost odpuzovačů nebyla v této práci prokazatelná vlivem kombinace s jinou polopropustnou bariérou.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the influence of linear structures on the permeability of the landscape and determine relations between traffic intensity, wild life mortality and a landcover. The field research was conducted for a purpose of data collection and detailed landcover mapping. Quantity and parameters of passage constructions were observed. The key points of the field works were register accurate position and length of particular barriers in the landscape. Collected data were cathegorized and combined with wildlife-vehicle collisions in the ArcMap software. There were used a several analysis and calculations to obtain results confirming relations between traffic intensity and barriers building. These result also confirm hypothesis that the wildlife-vehicle collisions were most frequented on the roads surrounded by forrest. On the other hand, the findings refute the hypothesis of low amount of passage constructions. The effort of roads security is evident in the use of fences and odor repellents application. The efficiency of odor repellents wasn't proved, because of combination with another semipermeable barrier.
