This thesis introduces the ways of representation and work with biological data using the SBML format. It further focuses on the java library JSBML used for manipulation with the SBML in aplications and MathML format for representation of mathematical expressions. Táto práca predstavuje spôsob reprezentácie biologických dát pomocou formátu SBML a práci s nimi. Ďalej sa zameriava na javovskú knižnicu JSBML, slúžiacu na manipuláciu s SBML v aplikáciách a formát MathML pre záznam matematických výrazov.
