A Service Extension Project for a Private Clinic ABC

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je vytvoření projektu na rozšíření služeb soukromé kliniky ABC. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část popisuje nejen východiska obecného marketingu a služeb, ale zohledňuje specifika marketingu a služeb ve zdravotnictví. Zaměřuje se na vytváření marketingových strategií a plánů, definuje marketingové prostředí včetně jeho analýz jako je PEST analýza, Porterova analýza konkurenčních sil a SWOT analýza. Praktická část charakterizuje činnost kliniky ABC, popisuje a analyzuje její současný stav. Na základě výsledků analýz navrhuje projekt na rozšíření poskytovaných služeb.

Abstract:

The objective of the diploma thesis is to create a project in order to extend the range of services at a private ABC clinic. The thesis is divided into two parts. In the theoretical part, general marketing and service resources are described, also the specifics of marketing and services in health care are taken into account. It is aimed at producing marketing strategies and plans, whereas the marketing environment is defined, including its analyses, such as the PEST analysis, the Porter analysis and the SWOT analysis. In the practical part, the business at the ABC clinic is characterised, the current situation there is described and analysed. Based on the results of the analyses, a project of extension of the range of services at the ABC clinic is devised.
