Abstract:

Práce se zaměřuje na didaktické aktivity odrážející principy Montessori pedagogiky ve výuce anglické slovní zásoby se zaměřením na aktivizaci žáků. V teoretické části jsou popsány základní pojmy, jako je výuka anglického jazyka v kontextu českého vzdělávání, výuka slovní zásoby, didaktické aktivity, Montessori pedagogika a aktivizace žáků. Pro výzkum obsažený v empirické části jsou využity observace provedené autorem a dalším učitelem anglického jazyka. Dále je obsažen dotazník, vyplněný žáky, kteří se výzkumu účastní. Cílem práce je zjistit, zda a jak Montessori principy obsažené v aktivitách pro výuku anglické slovní zásoby ovlivňují aktivizaci žáků čtvrtého a pátého ročníku na jedné konkrétní základní škole.

Abstract:

The thesis focuses on didactic activities reflecting Montessori principles in teaching and learning English vocabulary with a focus on learners' activation. Essential terms, such as English language education in the context of Czech education, vocabulary teaching and learning, didactic activities, Montessori education, and activation of learners, are described in the theoretical part. For the research contained in the empirical part, observations carried out by the author and by another English teacher are used. Also, a questionnaire is completed by the pupils participating in the research. The aim is to research whether and how Montessori principles included in English vocabulary activities influence the activation of learners in the fourth and fifth grade in one particular primary school.
