Treatment options for people with morbid obesity in the Ostrava region
Abstract:
Obezita je závažné, chronické metabolické onemocnění multifaktoriální etiologie, jehož celosvětový výskyt dosáhl epidemických rozměrů. Nejefektivnější a jedinou dlouhodobě účinnou léčbou morbidní obezity se stala bariatrická chirurgie. Cílem studie je posouzení vlivu tubulizace žaludku na antropometrické parametry a celkové tělesné složení.Abstract:
Obesity is a serious chronic metabolic disease of multifactor etiology, whose worldwide occurrence reached epidemic proportions. It was the bariatric surgery to be the most effective and the only one long term working means of morbid obesity treatment. The aim of this study is an examination of sleeve gastrectomy influence on anthropometric parameters and on overall physical composition.
