Anotácia:

Predmetom bakalárskej práce „Determinanty peňažného multiplikátora počas finančnej krízy“ je skúmanie vývoja determinantov peňažného mutliplikátora pred a počas nedávnej globálnej finančnej krízy v ekonomike Spojených štátov amerických. Bakalárska práca skúma súčasný stav teórie peňažného multiplikátora, efekt kvantitatívneho uvoľnovania na bilancie komerčných bánk v USA a predstavuje jasne štrukturovaný prístup k výpočtu peňažného multiplikátora v USA. Následne práca identifikuje empirické dôvody jeho kolapsu a navrhuje teoretické vysvetlenie.

Abstract:

The subject of the bachelor thesis “Money multiplier determinants in financial crisis” is the examination of the developments in the determinants of money multiplier before and during the recent global financial crisis in the economy of the United States of America. The thesis examines the current state of the money multiplier theory, the effect of the quantitative easing on the balance sheets of the commercial banks in the US, and presents a clearly structured approach to the calculation of money multiplier in the US. Subsequently, the thesis identifies the empirical reasons of the multiplier collapse and suggests theoretical explanation.
