Protecting soft targets from mass violent incidents

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá ochranou měkkých cílů,vymezuje teoretická východiska ale i návod jak jednotlivým teroristickým incidentům čelit. Cílem této práce je zaměřit se na problematiku měkkých cílů, a to především zmapování charakteristických rysů potencionálních útočníků a rovněž vymezení možností měkkých cílů v rámci jejich zabezpečení.První kapitola práce bude pojednávat o terorismu a zároveň jeho organizaci a proces radikalizace,mimojiné budou zde představeny jednotlivé teroristické organizace.Druhá kapitola představí teorii,která vymezí charakteristické rysy jednotlivých útočníků,ale i patologické fenomény vývoje,které budou zvlášt zpracovány a popsány.Předposlední část práce se zabývá bezpečností,kde budou představeny objektivní a subjektivní faktory bezpečnosti.Tato kapitola také bude pojednávat o bezpečnostní strategii České republiky.Ve čtvrté,poslední kapitole práce budou vymezeny samotné měkké cíle,ty budou zde podrobně představeny a následně popsané doporučení na jejich ochranu.Použita byla platná legislativa,odborná tištěná a internetová literatura.Výsledkem práce je vyhodnocení a návod jak teoreticky předcházet teroristickým útokům a jak jim čelit.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis deals with the protection of soft targets, defines the theoretical basis but also gives instructions on how to deal with individual terrorist incidents. The aim of this work is to focus on the issue of soft targets, especially to map the characteristics of potential attackers and also to eliminate the possibility of soft targets in their security. The first chapter will be focused on terrorism and it’s process of radicalisation and amongst other topics I will be highlighting individual terrorist organisations. The second chapter introduces the theory that delineates the characteristics of individual attackers, as well as the pathological phenomena of development, which will be specially examined and described. The penultimate chapter is based around security whereby objective and subjective elements of security will be introduced. This chapter also includes the security strategy of the Czech Republic. In the fourth, and last chapter of the thesis, the soft targets themselves will be defined, they will be presented in detail and there will be a description of recommendations for their protection. The relevant legislation and the professional printed internet literature was used. The result of this work is an evaluation and instruction on how to theoretically prevent terrorist attacks and how to potentially face them.
