Professional Competences of the Pre-school Teacher in Czech Republic in Comparison to other Countries

Abstract:

Má práce je bakalářská práce komparativního typu, která se zabývá problematikou profesních kompetencí předškolních pedagogů ve třech zemích Česká Republika, Velká Británie (konkrétně byla rozebrána Anglie) a Austrálie. První část práce sestává ze dvou kapitol. V první kapitole je popsána metoda tedy metoda porovnávání neboli komparace, a cíl mého pedagogického výzkumu. Druhá kapitola obsahuje obecný náhled do problematiky profesních kompetencí. Druhá část práce obsahuje samotnou komparaci a skládá se ze čtyř kapitol Česká Republika, Velká Británie, Austrálie a následuje Diskuze a komparace. Cílem práce je porovnat dané země z hlediska profesních kompetencí, které jsou kladeny na předškolní pedagogy, zjistit, zda jsou v zemi dané a platné profesní standardy a následně je porovnat. Dále popsat, jakým způsobem je uskutečňováno předškolní vzdělávání, jaké jsou nároky na kvalifikaci učitelů v těchto zařízeních, jaké mají povinnosti a co je jejich náplní práce.

Abstract:

This comparative bachelor thesis deals with professional competencies of preschool teachers, in three countries Czech Republic, Great Britain focused on England. The thesis´s first part is divided into two sections the first section describes the method of research and gives us a look into the aims of it. The second section provides a general look into professional competencies. Second part of the thesis is focused on the research itself. It provides four chapters Czech Republic, Great Britain, Australia and Discussion and comparison. The main aim of the thesis is to compare the three countries, professional competencies of preschool (early childhood) teachers. Another aim is to discuss the teachers standards and compare them, and the last but not at least the educational systems, qualifications of the teacheras, their duties and job description.
