Bill of Exchange as financing instrument - ways of uses and comparison of individual products

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá směnkou jako nástrojem financování. Jejími způsoby využití a srovnání s jednotlivými produkty. V teoretické části je vysvětlena podstata směnky, její historie a vývoj právní regulace, jednotlivé druhy směnky včetně jejích charakteristik, náležitostí podstatných i nepodstatných, funkce směnky a také její výhody a nevýhody. V aplikační části je následně provedena komparace možných způsobů financování zvolené investice, kterou je rekonstrukce a výstavba nemocnice. Třemi zvolenými variantami financování jsou investiční úvěr, forfaiting směnek a eskont směnek. Závěr obsahuje souhrn zjištěných výsledků a doporučení.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the bill of exchange as a financing tool. Ways of using bills of exchange and comparison with individual products. In the theoretical part is explain the meaning of bills of exchange, its history and development of legal regulation, the various types of bills, including their characteristics, relevant and irrelevant elements, functions, and also advantages and disadvantages. The application part contains the comparison of the possible ways of financing of selected investments, which is the construction of hospital and reconstruction. Three selected variants of investment are investment loan, forfaiting bills and discount bills. Conclusion summarizes the obtained results and recommendations.
