The social teaching of Catholic Church as discourse of postmodern knowledge

Abstract:

The theme of this thesis is the discourse of the social teaching of Catholic Church and its operation on the field of knowledge in postmodern societies. Thesis understands these societies as Jean-François Lyotard. Thesis tried to briefly introduce the Christian social teaching, its official constitutive discursive formation, papal social encyclicals of Pope John Paul II., and other approaches to Christian social teachings, all as the discourse of ethics and morality. For knowledge come to power, it is necessary to respect the characteristic regu-larity of context in which it was expressed. For institutional leadership is determined: how things should be say, what should be say and how effect should expression cause. The last requirement characterizes the postmodern condition of culture. This condition allows and promotes the formation of flexible knowledge, such as Christian social doctrine. This knowledge tells the story, prescribes moral standards and contributes to the optimization of the society by maintaining its coherence.

Abstract:

Témou tejto práce je diskurz sociálnej náuky Rímskokatolíckej cirkvi a jej fungo-vanie na poli vedenia v postmoderných spoločnostiach ako ich chápal Jean-François Lyotard. Práca sa snažila stručne predstaviť kresťanskú sociálnu náuky, zaradiť jej oficiálnu konštituujúci diskurzívnu formáciu, pápežské sociálne encykliky Jána Pavla II., ako diskurz na poli etiky a morálky. Aby vedenie skutočne nadobúdalo prídavok moci, je a bolo nevyhnutne nutné aby rešpektovalo charakteristické pravidelnosti kontextu, v ktorom bolo prednesené, jeho pozitívne alebo negatívne požiadavky. Pre vedenie je inštitucionálne určené, akým spôsobom sa veci majú hovoriť, aké veci sa majú hovoriť a s akým účinkom. Táto posledná požiadavka charakterizuje postmoderný stav kultúry. Ten následne dovoľuje a podporuje formovanie flexibilného vedenia, akým je i kresťanská sociálna náuka, ktorá vypráva príbehy, predpisuje morálne normy a prispieva k optimalizácii spoločnosti, tým že udržuje jej vnútornú súdržnosť.
