I přes stále klesající absolutní počet sebevražd v Japonsku od roku 2003, byl mezi lety 2016 a 2017 zaznamenán největší počet sebevražd studentů v historii. Tato práce si klade za cíl objasnit, zda se japonské školství zásadně podílí na neklesajícím počtu sebevražd. Altough the total number of suicides in Japan is in decline since 2003, in between 2016 and 2017 the suicide numbers among the japnese youth has hit a record high. In this thesis I will attempt to clarify whether or not the japanese education system has significant influence on this trend.
