Design of a system for the organization of occupational therapy in psychiatry

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou ergoterapie v psychiatrické péči. Zaměřuje se na organizaci ergoterapie, vykazování ergoterapeutických výkonů, multidisciplinární spolupráci a potřeby ergoterapeutů pracující s osobami s duševním onemocněním. V první části této práce jsou shrnuty teoretické poznatky vztahující se k tématu ergoterapie, organizační struktury ve zdravotnictví, hrazení ergoterapeutické péče v České republice i ve světě. V hlavní části je popsaná metodika výzkumu a následně její analýza a interpretace výsledků. Výzkum probíhal kombinovanou formou pomocí kvalitativního i kvantitativního výzkumu. Z bádání vyplynulo několik oblastí, na kterých se respondenti shodli jako nedostačující. Na základě těchto poznatků a vlastního poznání autorky je stanoveno šest problematických oblastí, na které je třeba se zaměřit. V závěru hlavní části je interpretován návrh organizace ergoterapie v psychiatrii, pojednává o několika vztyčných bodech, které lze dále rozvíjet a zkoumat možnosti, jak s nedostatky pracovat.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the issue of occupational therapy in psychiatric care. It focuses on the organization of occupational therapy, reporting of occupational therapy procedures, multidisciplinary cooperation and the needs of occupational therapists working with people with mental illness. The first part of this thesis summarizes theoretical knowledge related to the topic of occupational therapy, organizational structures in healthcare, reimbursement of occupational therapy care in the Czech Republic and around the world. The main part describes the research methodology and then its analysis and interpretation of the results. The research was carried out in a combined form using both qualitative and quantitative research. The research revealed several areas on which respondents agreed as insufficient. Based on these findings and the author's own knowledge, six problematic areas need to be addressed are identified. At the end of the main part, the proposal of the organization of occupational therapy in psychiatry is interpreted, it discusses several points of reference that can be further developed and explore the possibilities of how to work with deficiencies.
