Abstract:
The aim of this thesis is to identify, analyse and compare which policies and strategies not only domestic but also foreign metropolitan areas in the European Union have chosen in order to improve air quality. Also, a re-search of measures to reduce air pollutants to identify data suitable for comparison within all metropolitan areas and identify aspects that may affect air quality.
