Abstract:

Diplomová práce popisuje oblast partnerských vztahů a sexuálního prožívání u lidí s těžkým tělesným postižením. První kapitola teoretické části popisuje tělesné a těžké tělesné postižení, uvádí možnosti jeho dělení, charakterizuje vybrané druhy tělesného postižení. Dále se kapitola dotýká vlivu postižení na psychiku a sociabilitu člověka. Druhá kapitola se věnuje partnerským vztahům. Je zde vymezen pojem partnerství včetně fází, jimiž vztah ve svém vývoji prochází. Pozornost je rovněž věnována navazování partnerských vztahů u lidí se zdravotním postižením včetně manželství a rodičovství. Obsahem třetí kapitoly je sexualita u lidí se zdravotním postižením. Jsou zde uvedeny často vyskytující se mýty a předsudky intaktní populace. Zmíněna je také služba sexuální asistence. Čtvrtou kapitolu tvoří kvantitativní výzkum, který se zabývá vlivem těžkého tělesného postižení na partnerské vztahy a možnost naplnit intimní potřeby. Výsledky dotazníkového šetření ukázaly, že těžké tělesné postižení může znesnadňovat proces seznamování se, nicméně není jedinou překážkou v navázání vztahu. Sexuální asistence je pojmem poměrně novým. Lidé s těžkým tělesným postižením k němu zaujímají různé postoje a mají rozmanité představy o konkrétní podobě poskytování této služby.

Abstract:

This thesis describes the sphere of relationships and sexual experience of people with severe physical disabilities. The first chapter of the theoretical part describes physical and severe physical disabilities, introduces the ways of their division, characterizes the selected types of disability. Moreover the chapter is engaged in the impact of disability on the psychic and social aspects of life. The second chapter describes relationships. It defines a term of partnerships including their developing stages. People with disabilities entering into partnerships, marriages and parenthood included are brought into focus as well. The third chapter attends to the sexuality of people with disabilities. Some myths and prejudices often occured among intact population are referred here. Sexual assistance in attendance is also mentioned. The fourth chapter includes a quantitative research, which examines the influence of severe physical disability on relationships and sexual satisfaction. The results of the survey showed that a severe physical disability can make forming partnership more difficult but it isn´t the only problem. Sexual assistance is a relatively new term. People with severe disabilities adopt different attitudes to it and their ideas of particular offered forms of this attendance are various.
