Triple Bottom Line and its application at airlines

Abstract:

Předmětem práce „Triple Bottom Line a jeho aplikace u leteckých společností“ je výzkum vybraných leteckých společností a jejich reportů zahrnující pilíře triple bottom line. Cílem práce je zhodnocení a zjištění, jakým způsobem osm vybraných světových leteckých společností reportuje své výsledky v rámci kontextu triple bottom line. První část práce je věnována rešerši teoretických poznatků o triple bottom line a jeho třem pilířům, reportování nefinančních výsledků a standardům pro reportování. Následuje metodika výzkumu, pro kterou byla zvolena kvantitativní a kvalitativní obsahová analýza. Ve druhé části práci jsou představeny výsledky analýzy dokumentů a návrhy opatření.

Abstract:

The subject of the thesis 'Triple Bottom Line and Its Application at Airlines' is an analysis of airlines and their sustainability reports consisted of three pillars of the concept triple bottom line. The aim of this work is assessment of non-financial reporting in the context of triple bottom line applied on selected eight international airlines. The first part of the thesis includes theoretical research of knowledge about the concept triple bottom line and its three pillars, reporting of non-financial corporate results and standards for this reporting. Following part consists of methodology when quantitative and qualitative content analyses were chosen. The results of analysis of documents and suggested proposals for measures are presented in the second part of the thesis.
