Abstract:
Pojmem Zelená revoluce označujeme proces, který byl nastartován v polovině 20. století v Mexiku. Šlo o přenos technologií známých v rozvinutých zemích do zemí rozvojových za účelem zemědělské intenzifikace a následného zvýšení produkce strádajících zemí. Subsaharské Africe, kde je zemědělství hlavním zdrojem příjmů, se tato revoluce vyhnula a tato práce popisuje důvody, proč se tomu stalo. Úspěchy …more

The term Green Revolution means a process which started in Mexico in the middle of last century. It was about transfer of technologies known in developed countries to developing countries in order to make agriculture more intensive and incerase production to feed the hugry population.
