Abstract:

Tato disertační práce se zabývá syntézou a supramolekulárními vlastnostmi makrocyklů vycházejících z glykolurilu – cucurbiturilů a bambusurilů. V teoretické části této práce jsou tyto makrocykly představeny. Dále jsou zde popsány příklady pokročilých molekulárních architektur, především systémy spojené mechanickou vazbou vycházející z receptorů aniontů. První projekt popisuje přípravu čtyř nových derivátů cucurbit[6]urilů monofunkcionalizovaných na methylenovém můstku. Je ukázáno, že tyto deriváty tvoří samouspořádané struktury, komplexy host-hostitel s organickými kationty, a dokonce se chovají jako molekuly hostů při interakcích s cucurbit[7]urilem. Druhý projekt je zaměřen na rotaxany složené z aniontové osy a kola dodecabenzylbambus[6]urilu. Je diskutováno dynamické chování těchto rota-xanů, jejich stabilita a také jejich použití v jodo-karboxylačních reakcích na dvojné vazbě.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with synthesis and supramolecular properties of glycoluril-based macrocycles – cucurbiturils and bambusurils. In theoretical part of the thesis, these macrocycles and their derivatives are introduced. Furthermore, examples of ad-vanced molecular architectures are described, specifically mechanically interlocked molecules based on anion receptors. The first project describes preparation of four new derivatives of cucurbit[6]uril monofunctionalized on the methylene bridge. It is shown that these derivatives form self-assembled structures, host-guest complexes with organic cations, and they even act as guest molecules in their interaction with cucurbit[7]uril. The second project deals with rotaxanes consisting of anionic axle and dodecabenzylbambus[6]uril wheel. Dynamic behaviour of the rotaxane is dis-cussed, rotaxane stabilities are measured, and their utilization in iodo-carboxylation reaction on double bond is tested.
