Bureaucracy in Political Sphere

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je rozbor byrokracie v politické sféře. Práce je rozdělena na šest rozsáhlých kapitol. První kapitola práce se věnuje fenoménu byrokracie obecně. Druhá část se zaměřuje na její rysy a funkce. Třetí část popisuje teorii byrokracie ze dvou úhlů pohledu, a to Maxe Webera a Roberta K. Mertona. Ve čtvrté části se práce zaměřuje na fungování a role byrokracie v politické sféře a její vztahy k ostatním politickým aktérům (politice v moderní společnosti, politickým stranám, státu České republiky, občanům). V posledních dvou kapitolách popisuje kladné a záporné stránky byrokracie, nejen celé byrokracie, ale i v politické sféře. A v závěru se autorka snaží shrnout všechny důležité poznatky z byrokracie, včetně zhodnocení její role v moderní politice.

Abstract:

The aim of this final thesis is analysis of bureaucracy in the political sphere. The work is divided into six extensive chapters. The first chapter is focused on the bureaucracy phenomenon in general. The second one concentrates on characteristics and functions of bureaucracy. The third chapter describes the theory of bureaucracy from two points of view, according to Max Weber and Robert King Merton. The fourth chapter maps functioning and roles of bureaucracy in the political sphere and its relations to other political participants (politics in modern society, political parties, state of the Czech Republic, inhabitants). In the last two chapters, positives and negatives not only of bureaucracy, but also of the whole political sphere are mentioned. At the end, the author aims to summarize all the important information on the field of bureaucracy including evaluation its role in modern politics.
